The RTD (Rotary Tower Deluxe) semi-automatic stretch wrapper represents the latest advancement in rotary tower pallet stretch wrapping technology, designed to enhance packaging and shipping efficiency. Commonly used in industries like bakeries, building supply companies, and beverage distribution, this system can be quickly loaded by pallet jack or lift truck without ramps.
Operation is simple:
- An operator attaches the film tail to the load at the beginning of the cycle and removes it at the end.
- The RTD wraps the load by rotating the stretch film carriage around a stationary pallet.
This pallet wrapper is ideal for securing difficult loads, including heavy, light, fragile, or unstable ones. With no weight limit on the load, you can efficiently secure even the most challenging pallets at a low cost, ensuring a high return on investment.
The fully sealed slip ring reduces maintenance by protecting against dirt, dust, and debris. Simultaneously, an asymmetrical stretch film clamp firmly holds the film web as a hot wire cuts it. The pneumatically actuated belt ensures a smooth finish by pressing the film tail securely against the load.
Built for durability and safety, the RTD Series features heavy-duty welded tubular structural steel construction. The stretch wrapping film delivery carriage further minimizes maintenance. Optional fencing provides a more controlled operating environment for enhanced safety.
